JOANNA BROWN
Joanna Brown is an emerging multimedia artist. She enjoys working with 2D animation and traditional mediums. In 2D, she combines the style with real life images that are google stock photos or pictures she personally takes. She enjoys experimenting with different styles that are typically seen as not ‘belonging together’ and embraces the challenge of making them seem like they do. Her art varies in themes and is mainly a reflection of her own feelings, the environment around her along with social/political events she watches unfold around her. She enjoys combining mediums and materials outside the digital sphere but her work remains now mainly digital. Some of her notable work’s include but aren’t limited to, Kush Monster, Turtle, Fears Installation, Body paint series and Whaaaaat I’m turning 60!?!?!. She has just finished her current work on a capstone multimedia project called Feelings for OCADU’s Grad ex. She is currently working on character designs, storyboards and visuals for the Comedy Fusion Show (https://comedyfusionshow.com) podcast content.
